Get started using SWIFT
To register, send your request to your FTB Business Representative or SWIFT Technical Support and include the type of data you will transmit to us. All Inquiries sent to SWIFT Technical Support will be forwarded to the appropriate SWIFT Business Representative for support.
Did not get my login or password
Typically, within 3 business day after you submit your request, you will receive an email with your login name and another email with your temporary password.
Supported web browsers
SWIFT supports the following browsers:
- Microsoft Edge – latest version
- Firefox – latest version
- Safari – latest version
- Chrome – latest version
File size limitation that can be uploaded or downloaded
SWIFT does not have any file size limitations. However, some browsers and clients do.
Email confirmation
When you successfully upload a file, you may receive an email confirmation. Notifications can be setup when you create your account.
My files were deleted in the ToFTB and FromFTB folders
Files uploaded in the ToFTB folder will be transferred immediately. Files in the FromFTB folder need to be retrieved within 30 days or they will be deleted.
Make sure you save your files. Once you select the download link, the file will be deleted.
I get an error message when uploading my file
Verify the following:
- You are in the ToFTB folder when uploading your file
- You have the correct file extension on the file you are uploading (e.g., .txt or .zip)
Unable to get to the login screen
Verify you are using a supported client and version that is identified in the SWIFT Transmitter User Guide. If you are still unable to login, contact your FTB Business Representative or SWIFT Technical Support.
SWIFT maintenance
Scheduled maintenance occurs Tuesdays 5 AM to 7 AM. If you receive a transmission error during this time, try again after 7 AM.
