Overview
California e-file Schemas and Business Rules will be made available on the FTA State Exchange System (SES) website to Authorized Users. Access is granted after the software developer completes a CA Letter of Intent (LOI) for each supported tax year. If you are a software developer and do not have access to the CA SES folder, please contact the FTB LOI mailbox. The following tables provide information on valid Schemas and Business Rules for software developers who are interested in developing software for California's Exempt Organization e-file program.
The stand-alone EFW payment program has only one active version in our system at all times. All stand-alone payments must be sent using the most current version.
