SOS “Dark” Period in March / April 2022
The California Secretary of State (SOS) is implementing the next phase of their ongoing California Business Connect Project on April 7, 2022.
As they implement, it is necessary for SOS to turn off certain functionality during the transition period in order to ensure integrity of the services being upgraded.
From March 30, 2022, to April 7, 2022, SOS will not have the ability to update status changes for registered business entities. This includes revivor and restore requests received by FTB, as well as SOS name availability information. During this period FTB will continue to transmit these changes to SOS so that these transactions can be processed. SOS will update their business records on April 7, 2022, or shortly thereafter.
