Public Counter Field Offices Closed Beginning December 7 Public Service Bulletin

Purpose of bulletin

To notify staff and the public that the public counter field offices will be closed beginning on Monday, December 7, 2020.

Background

The FTB’s field and public counter operations provide tax, filing, and payment assistance to taxpayers and their authorized representatives concerning Personal Income Tax (PIT), Business Entity (BE) Income Tax, and Non-Tax Debt. Due to the current Stay at Home Directive, the field offices will be closed.

Additional information

The Field Office appointment telephone lines will not be answered during the office closures.

Taxpayer Inquiries

If a customer needs to schedule a telephone appointment, they can send an email to FTBFieldOfficeAppointments@ftb.ca.gov and include the following:

• Name and phone number
• Reason for appointment

Allow two business days for a response.
