FTB NOTICE 2000-7

SUBJECT: Request for Public Comment and Notice of Symposium on Discussion Draft Regulation 19504 - Auditing Practices and Procedures

At its meeting on September 19, 2000, the Franchise Tax Board directed its staff to solicit public comment, and to hold a symposium, on a preliminary discussion draft regulation concerning the department's auditing practices and procedures.  A copy of the discussion draft is included with this Notice or can be accessed at the Franchise Tax Board's website at www.ftb.ca.gov.

A symposium has been scheduled for December 1, 2000, in Room 1040, Phase 2, of the Franchise Tax Board's central offices at 9645 Butterfield Way, Sacramento, CA, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The central offices of the Franchise Tax Board are located near the Butterfield station of the Sacramento Light Rail System.
